Steve Matas

CEO

Steve Matas is the CEO of Clinovo, with over 20 years in staffing and outsourcing experience, much of which has been within the field of clinical research. Previously the President of a mid-sized, global CRO, Steve has witnessed first-hand the staggering number of opportunities drug sponsors have to capitalize on efficiencies and technology to reduce timelines, costs and delays within their workflows. As the CEO of Clinovo, Steve is dedicated to bringing these solutions to the market and breaking through the vicious cycle of inefficiencies that plague the industry.

With an eye for great talent, Steve has cultivated a team of experienced professionals that also value innovation, quality and progress above the status quo, in order to revolutionize the way research outsourcing is done today and in the future.

Matt Gallant

Matt Gallant

VP of Business Development

Matt Gallant With 13+ years of expertise, Matt has a strong background in guiding clients through staff augmentation, workforce optimization, and outsourcing strategy. His journey began in healthcare, transitioning eight years ago to focus on Biopharmaceutical sponsors. Being local to the greater Boston area, he's particularly enjoyed his involvement in the Northeast Biopharma community, where he actively collaborates with leaders to solve clinical trial execution challenges and helps foster crucial industry connections.

Through this involvement, he's witnessed firsthand how inefficient trial processes-such as an over-reliance on outdated traditional workforce and outsourcing models, suboptimal resource allocation, and a lack of seamless collaboration with CRO partners-not only inflate costs but also directly impede the rapid advancement of innovative treatments.
